THREE WAYS TO TRAP A LEPRECHAUN by Taka Lazar. Illustrated by Vivienne To.

It's time to start checking out the St. Patrick's Day reads! This is a new one to my collection this year, and I am loving it!

I don't know about you, but I was the type of kid that hunted for fairies, leprechauns, unicorns, and other fanciful creatures. I knew they weren't real, but I couldn't resist trying to see where rainbows ended and peeking under toadstools.

Three Ways to Trap a Leprechaun is about a sister and brother who try to catch a Leprechaun. The little brother doesn't believe in them, so the sister is trying to catch one to show him. The absolutely hilarious part of this book is that in the pictures you'll often catch a glimpse of a Leprechaun spying on their attempts. With each try, the Leprechaun outsmarts them and leaves a note behind until SPOILER ALERT they finally get him! Now, the little brother believes, so the book ends with them moving on to Big Foot, a Yeti, and the Loch Ness monster! This is a great book for laughs with some suggestions at the end on assembling your own traps! Fantastically Fun!!

Sharing stories, building faith, and growing together, one book at a time.
