THE ONE YEAR BOOK OF CHRISTIAN HISTORY by E. Michael and Sharon Rusten

I'm always in the market for a good devotional. Something that helps me close out my day with my thoughts on Christ. Recently, I revisited one I did years ago, The One Year Book of Christian History. Each day of the year is tied to an event that happened on that day in history. It's fascinating to read some of the accounts of missionaries, Biblical events, pastors, evangelists, and more. You can choose to read the entry on the designated day, or I started the book and read a couple of entries each evening. I found it very strengthening and moving to read what has been completed by people responding to the will of God. Amazing things have been accomplished, and they can still be accomplished today!
