I have really enjoyed this fun series by Mike Nawrocki that has highlighted so many wonderful places in Israel and the stories that occurred at those places from the Bible. Risky River Rescue is no different!

Merle, the Dead Sea Squirrel, is still in the clutches of Ruben who has captured him with the intent of placing him in the first ever talking animal zoo. Looking for his break to get away. Merle finally has his chance and takes it. Now that he's free, his problems aren't over. Looming in front of him is the Jordan River, and Merle is going to need some serious help to get across. The question is, who can he trust? Just in the nick of time, he gets help from a very unlikely source, and it's exactly what he needs to navigate this infamous river that has some amazing history in the Bible.
