CULTURE & CRAFT: AN ENRICHMENT EXPERIENCE Volume 1 by Jeannie Fulbright

Today, I thought I'd share a book that I am really looking forward to incorporating into our homeschool this year.

Jeannie Fulbright is a name that many people in the homeschool world will recognize. I originally discovered her work many years ago through Apologia, the well known science company. She authored several of the elementary textbooks under Dr. Wile. Over the past few years, she has begun publishing homeschool curriculum under her own brand, Jeannie Fulbright Press. Culture & Craft is one of her recent editions.

Jeannie's books definitely follow the much loved Charlotte Mason method. Culture & Craft is a beautiful collection of the arts and nature-styled activities for students. It allows moms to breathe a huge sigh of relief upon opening and finding that a gorgeous collection of artwork, hymns, poems, crafts, recipes and more are organized and ready for her to share with very little preparation. (The crafts and recipes do require some gathering of supplies.) Great works await for the enjoyment and consideration of her children and teens. Yes, I absolutely would use this with teenagers! In fact, I cannot wait to use this book in our homeschool opening time each morning, and I have teenagers! I think it will be a great launching off pad to get the creative juices flowing for the day.
