I have come to really love the Orris and Timble series. Now that fall is in the air, and we are hearing the owls hooting at night in the woods around our house to each other, I pulled the newest Orris and Timble book, Star Stories, out of my TBR pile to enjoy.

This unlikely pair of friends have been through the thick of things together, and this time it's about trust. TImble (the owl) has offered to take Orris (the mouse) for a ride out into the night sky, and that is definitely pushing Orris way out of his comfort zone. Can Orris put his fear aside long enough to have the experience of a lifetime with his friend?

This book is perfect for kids that are ready for easy chapter books, or if I had littles still at home, I would use this as a snuggle down and read aloud book for ages 4-6 before nap or bedtime. It is such a sweet, cozy read, and the illustrations are fantastic. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
