I am absolutely loving the Orris and Timble series. Book 1 is so sweet and wonderful, and Book 2 doesn't disappoint. A quick heads up- you will want to start this series with the first book to fully appreciate the friendship.

Orris and Timble have become the best of friends. A highly unlikely friendship since they are a rat and an owl. Book 1 explains how their friendship came to be. Now, every night Timble comes to the barn so Orris can tell him a story. But one night, Timble doesn't show up. More days go past without Timble coming, and Orris is convinced that he's been forgotten about. Maybe their friendship wasn't as important as he thought it was. However, just maybe, there might be another explanation!

Most kids will experience a similar situation in their lives at some point with regards to friendships. It's very easy to make assumptions and think the worst when unexplainable things happen. Orris and Timble help readers realize there might just be a simple explanation when it seems like things are going wrong.

Orris and Timble is a delightful, easy chapter book series for beginning readers.
